I’m thinking of doing this for my grandpa.
I came across this awesome boutique the other day. I haven’t gotten a chance to blog about it until now. Karma Boutique is in Pleasant Grove, off Main Street. Today is their one year anniversary celebertaiont!! They’re having some great deals on clothing items and accessories. What I liked about this fun clothing boutique is that they do have the high-end designer jeans, but at the same time have adorable tops, dresses, shoes and other items for great prices. I ended up getting a crop jacket for only $30. I’ve worn it twice now. Love it! So hurry down there today if you’re wanting to check out their fun place and get some killer deals.

Artist and illustrator Frank Chimero has come up with a state series. From his website: “The rules are simple: take the silhouette of a US state, and fit something inside of it.” He doesn’t have Utah YET, but seeing that this is an ongoing project, we hope he will soon. Idaho is one of my favorites. Love the potatoes in the truck (Elizabeth, that’s for you). The state that I grew up in, Texas, is also a fun one. To see more states go here.
Anyone a Michael Jackson fan?!? Welp if a chess set on marble pillars, rhinestoned socks and gloves, creepy old lady fortune tellers are your thing; go ahead and register here. Or if you’d rather just look at the outrages decor Mr. Michael J had in his home go ahead and look here.
Really feelin’ these VISA Card Designs. Wish Wells Fargo had a few more options.

Anu Suebsawangkul is the 4th Finalist in the Met Home Winners Contest, awarded for Swankiest Small Space. And when they mean small they’re not kidding around. Anu Suebsawangkul’s apartment is a humble 408 square feet. But her small space didn’t inhibit her from having great design.
Suebsawangkul talks about her style: “I decided to give my room some pizzazz. I discovered the Hollywood Regency style and I fell in love with it. Kelly Wearstler and Dorothy Draper are my style icons.”
Anu Suebsawangkulis prides herslef as a true “Do-it-Yourselfer.” She says, “The sense of satisfaction after she completes a project feels much better than simply purchasing an item. She prides herself on her whimsical designs, like repurposing an old dress form into sculpture by styling it with a white toile dress, black ribbon, and pearls. In addition to saving a few dollars, she is creating unique works of art.” To read the full article with more pictures you can go here.
Oooh I love when I find a new artist. And that affordable! Natasha Wescoat has some serious talent.
Natasha Wescoat creates vibrant, whimsical paintings of odd characters and candied landscapes in which emotion and energy are expressed, consequently dubbing her work a “riot of color and movement” by fans.
Her work has ranged from contemporary abstracts to pop art cartoons. Bright colors, with a hint of a whimsical feel–these works are truly beautiful. You can find Natasha a lot of places: her website, her blog, and her etsy site. Just browsing through her site makes me giddy. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed with her work.
Isn’t this little girl’s dress adorable? It’s like she’s a little fairy, I love it!
Am I the only one itching for spring to come? It sure seems like it. Even when browsing through The Most Fabulous Looks from Fashion week, a lot of the new designs seemed so dark. Maybe that’s why my favorites were all the bright, happy designs. Speaking of happy, I still don’t get why all the models not only look serious, but look MAD. Maybe it’s cause they’re all so anorexically (yes, I made that word up) depressed from depriving themselves of all the happiness food has to offer. Sorry. Had to vent.
These are my favorite for a number of differnet reasons: They’re actually wearable out in public, they cover my body, and like I stated earlier: they have brighter colors. While I think this look is a little young, I just think the model is so adorable. Doesn’t she look like she’s having fun?
This is in honor of my little 4 year old nephew who loves anything transportation related. Maybe now he’ll eat his vegis.
Delicate and beautiful the Embrace Ring by Prismera Design.
I’m sure you’ve all already heard of the Snuggie. Well, meet the Gangsta Snuggie. This is fresh.
Sophisticated yet young and lively. I love the two sitting areas here. Another favorite: the clear coffee table. Notice how none of the furniture are matchy, matchy. This adds a lot of interest and doesn’t make the space feel so stuffy.
The children rooms. I think they speak for themselves.
Left, the apartment is a mix of high—a nineteenth- century Swedish table and chairs—and low, with big, cheap paper lanterns. Right, in the master bedroom, a mica-tiled globe hangs above a headboard Needleman designed and had made.
