I came across this awesome art piece designed by talented multi-media artist Queen of Tarts.  When I saw the art piece, I just had to put together a little reading nook inspired by it.

The dominate colors in Aqua Marie are burgudy and light blue; thus making them dominate colors in my reading nook.  Notice the different patterns used; I replicated this look in my room too.  The wallpaper you can find locally at Walls.  The rug was found online at RugsUSA (for an awesom price, I might add).  The chaise is from one of my favorite national stores: Z-Gallerie, and the side pedestal table from CRCurrin.  The fun, funky lampshade is from the geat Ikea.  The accessories.  I tried to be just as whymsical in my accessory selection as Queen of Tarts was with her work.  The throw pillow is from Urban Outfitters, the wallpillow is made by stepanka (whom I blogged about earlier), and the awesome pears are from VivaTerra (I’ve also blogged about them earlier. Twice).
