Artist and illustrator Frank Chimero has come up with a state series. From his website: “The rules are simple: take the silhouette of a US state, and fit something inside of it.” He doesn’t have Utah YET, but seeing that this is an ongoing project, we hope he will soon. Idaho is one of my favorites. Love the potatoes in the truck (Elizabeth, that’s for you). The state that I grew up in, Texas, is also a fun one. To see more states go here.

Thanks for the compliments! I just want to clear something up: there are no states that didn’t make the cut. This is an ongoing project, so eventually all 50 states will be illustrated.
