Maybe I’d use the kitchen more if I had a fun vintage oven and burner by Aga. Fun.
I need someting to cheer me up on this snowy day. I love gren and yellow. It’s so happy.

Remember the crazy teacher from the children’s book The Magic School Bus? The one with the funky outfits and quirky shoes? I found out who makes her shoes: Craftastrophe (okay not really her shoe maker). An etsy shop that specializes in funky hand painted shoes and accessories.
Enjoy the Weekend. I will be thinking of these Robin Egg colored floors. All. Weekend. Long.
Designed by Windsor Smtih.
I should have gotten this card from Art School Girl for Mick for V-Day.
Doesn’t the image on this cup remind you of the illustrations from the Shel Silverstien book The Giving Tree?
Each cup in this set is slightly different to resemble the different seasons. Pretty fun.
This is in honor of my 4 year old nephew who loves all things transportation. Isn’t this the most adorable boat invite? The boats can be found at Rose and Radish.
The how to can be found here.
Oooh LaLa. Love the colors and designs for these textiles found at Ink and Spindle.
Rain Rain go away. Fun light umberella lamps found here. Maybe these can brighten up a cloudy day like today.
Am I the only one that doesn’t know about this? I was browsing on Gap this weekend and saw their new BabyGap Home line. They have everything from strollers to toys to books to bedding. Me, being the interior designer that I am, looked more into their bedding.
Maybe I just really like this color combination, or maybe I love the cute little animals, but these few products caught my eye. The fleece monkey blanket and the turtle bedding with mobile are fun. But I really like the diaper bag. A lot. It’s nice a femine without being ultra girly.
Question for all you moms out there: Do you get a diaper bag to go with you or with your baby? For instance, if I have a son, do I get a boyish one? I’ve always wondered that.
Friend and owner of Stories by Me, Suni (remember the calander giveaway?), asked for my help for her Easter Outfit. Here are her needs:
I got these great shoes at Target and am searching for the perfect easter outfit…I’m looking for something fun and trendy-ish and unique. You know – the perfect ensemble!
Well Suni, hopefully these ideas will work for you, or at least give you some good ideas.

With a fun, bright, bold patterned dress like this you don’t need much more. The necklace and tote are simple enough they won’t be too distracting. And, of course, your fabulous shoes to go with it.
OR…
This dress and cardigan are a little more simple, so I decided to jazz it up with the accessories. However, notice the nice detail work up top. If we added a necklace it would have been too top heavy, so I decided to go with a nice bangle and fun ring. And, of course, the great wedge shoes.

Beautifully designed clothe book covers. Publishing company White’s Book has hired talented designers such as Petra Borner (a fashion designers that has worked for Louis Vuitton) Stanley Donwood (a wood- and lino-cut artist that is best known for designing Radiohead’s album covers) and Joe McLaren (an illustrator for The Times and Monocle) to make these awesome Fine Edition bookcovers. Reasonably priced too!
Thanks to all those participated in the giveaway. And thanks to random.org for picking our random lucky winner. Andrea Roche will be receiving the calander. Andrea, please email me your address so we can get that mailed out to you. Enjoy!
