Have a nice weekend. We’ve moved back into our place, this weekend we’ll be trying to get our home back together. I’m happy.

I’m an animal lover, but I’ve been diggin’ the look of animal-skin rugs lately. With solid furnishings and drapery, the zebra print ads a nice little flair. I might have to get a feaux one…
I have a client that wants her little girl’s room to look like this. Should be fun. I love clients who aren’t afraid of color.
Dear Carol, This is what I was telling you about. Vintagey, cutesy decals…with a touch of glam. The decals by house of three are jeweled! Ooh lala.
Reusable, washable, scrunchable…what else? These FABRIC wall decals from Mae are awesome! Love the coordinating fabrics. And I love how kid-friendly they are. Have the kids help decorate thier wall. And when they (you) don’t like it, simply peal it off and no residue will follow.
Speaking of Merimekko, they have pretty fun bags/totes/clutches for the spring and summer.
Any IKEA fans out there? Bemz is a company that sells removable, washable slipcovers for sofas, armchairs and cushions for popular IKEA models. Their slipcovers fit so well, they don’t even look like slipcovers! A lot of their designs are fun, but now they’re partnering up with Merimekko to deliver some fabulous work.
I bet a lot of people get water up their nose when drinking from this waterfountain.
Wow, I’m so impressed with designer Kate Tower’s work. I love the layering. These pictures are all so fabulous, I couldn’t decide wich one to choose. So here’s a couple. Enjoy these magical pictures.
Just an awesome picture. Found in the August issue of Vanity Fair.

Talk about a summer home. The tall windows open out to the gorgeous views of the ocean. Oh, and the five surrounding decks can’t be overlooked. I don’t know what I like better: the simple, causual interiors, or the view.
I’ve never been a a ruffles and bows type of girl. But with these I am. So cute. The denim helps lessen the girl-girl look.
Many of you know about our home situation right now: mold infestation. We’re going into our third week working on solving the problem. Bills, decisions, and many meetings with service men lead to high stress and sleepless nights. About a week ago, I received two tempur-pedic pillows in the mail. The comfort pillow and the neck pillow. I first tried the neck pillow–since I’m a side sleeper. I didn’t find it as comfortable as I was expecting. So I moved onto the comfort pillow. And comfort I got. Heaven. I have been sleeping like a baby these past couple days…something much needed due to the stress in our personal lives. One of my favorite features is the way the pillow molds to my head–fitting me. If any of you are having restless nights, I highly recommend one of the tempur-pedic pillows. The Comfort Pillow has done wonders for my sleep.
