Thought I’d highlight our uber-talented graphic designer for our giveaway. Mrs Natalie Brown from Enbee Invitations:

I have been a graphic designer for over 2 years and I absolutely love it! Wedding Invitations, Thank You Cards and Holiday Cards unite friends and family and I enjoy being able to be a part of that. I love the holidays and can’t wait to design a special custom Holiday Card for one lucky winner!
You can check out more about Natalie and see more of her work at her blog. Remember, tomorrow is the last day to enter!
I hope you all have a happy, safe Halloween!!

*side note* I don’t know why I feel so inclined to share this. But as a child my mom would only let us have twenty pieces of candy. That’s right, we came home with our pillow cases full, dumped all our candy on the floor and picked our most coveted twenty pieces. The rest went to my dad’s work. Somehow my sister could savor those twenty pieces for what seemed like weeks (when in reality it was probably one week), but I always devoured mine within the first two days. And I never once got a tummy ache. Ha! I showed you mom!!
While apartment searching in San Fransisco we learned we wanted a loft. The area of the city where we will be living has a lot of warehouse-turned-residential properties which offer a lot more square footage for the price. We like to spread out. Isn’t this San Fransisco loft designed by Ken Fulk beautiful? Now, if only the price tag would fit our budget…
Anyone want to rent our condo? 2 bed/2 bath if you’re interested please contact me! We are hoping to rent it out furnished for $1,500; but are willing to rent it out unfurnished for $1,200.
Some highlights:
- brand new, hand scraped laminate hardwood floors
- huge front living/dining room area
- single attached garage with TONS of extra storage space
- ideal central location (15 min to Provo, 30 min to SLC)
- master room has private bathroom
- condo complex has pool, hot tub, fitness room, theater room, garden slots, walking paths, plenty of playgrounds…

I disappeared the last half of the week and took off to San Fransisco. Yes, the rumors are true. Mick and I will be packing up our bags this Christmas and relocating to The City by the Bay. Quite an exciting time for us. For those of you who don’t know, Mick is one of the founders of Zinch.com, a website that helps connects high school students with colleges. Things have been going very well for the company and we feel very blessed and honored to be a part of the changes. I’m in a mad rush with my current clients to finish projects before I move, so blogging might be a little slow for me.
We will be living in the city, close to Zinch’s new office. So if anybody has any advice or recommendations, we’d be glad to listen. :)

I’m really excited about this addition to my clientele and widening my market to Utah!! I love what I do and it shows through my personal approach to each client & event. Life is for living in the moment, spreading love and laughing as often as we can! I feel fortunate to be able to share my passion for making art and capturing the moment through photography. I love shooting the candid and key moments that create an intimate record of your wedding day or your family at each stage of life. Check my website and blog to see my recent work and contact me to check availability for your upcoming wedding, engagements or family session. Utah clients who book in 2009 (for any date in the future) will receive a discount or product credit!! Don’t forget to enter to be the lucky WINNER of this amazing giveaway!

Some beautiful, warm images for your viewing pleasure.
As a designer, there are plenty of times where I’m looking for just the right piece. Be it furniture, art, or accessories. For furniture, I usually resort to designing my own piece and having my upholsterer construct it. For art and accessories, that’s where the hunting comes in. For rugs and throw pillows, Jonathan Adler has now solved the problem. Now offering a unique feature, Jonathan Adler offers anyone to design the size and color of a rug from a collection of patterns. This is the one I came up with. Titled Grassy Knoll (I grew up in Dallas).

Not very original, but it only took me about five seconds. Now, my friends, BE WARNED: the pricing is not cheap. With a combination of Jonathan Adler’s prices, custom, and wool materials, these rugs can get pretty high in price. I don’t know if I’ll ever actually use this service for a client, but it’s still fun too play!
A New kind of party dress. By the looks of this picture, doesn’t look too original:

but that goes to this:

to this:

From the designer Dana Karwis’s website:
Party Dress functions as a pavilion worn exclusively by five women that seamlessly injects architecture into fashion by using the body as space. The dress begins as a shared, bustled garment that gradually unfolds to create a temporary, inhabitable structure. Each seam, each dress, and each body are interconnected by a single, amorphous surface of flowing material.
It’s pretty cool, but I just think of the five women. Wouldn’t it be cumbersome to stand there all night?
Beautiful work by David Phoenix. I love the classic stand alone tub look…and in copper.

And check out the yard…such a lovely sitting area.

A great way to spruce up your sticky-notes: with fruit! From Japan company. If you can read Japanese, you can by them here.

They even come packaged with the little protective jacket that the Asains use with their fancy packaging.

Oh French Paper, love your cleverness. Could be a fun gift…

Simple and delicate ceramics by Gleena. The prices are wonderful too…

Who doesn’t love miniature fashion? And to add scarves, tights, and wool jacket…so adorable. By Bonpoint. They even make little boy clothing cute. Now to get a little boy to wear this…

Thinking about using this fabric in a project. LOVE it. By Quadrille.

Lovely State Bird Prints designed by Amy Ruppel on sale right now.

California Valley Quail

Alaska Willow Ptarmigan

hmmmm…not sure I’m a big fan of the botanical wall tiles. Especially if they cost so much.
oooh, I love this great room designed by Amanda Nisbet. The warmth of the yellow, and the bursts of blue make for such an interesting, yet relaxing room.
