If you haven’t been able to tell our yard is consuming a lot of my time and thoughts. In a good way. Yesterday as I was trying to figure out which plants should go where I thought how nice it would be to have a landscape designer come in and just take over. Now I know why people hire me. :) I know what I want, I just don’t know how to execute it. Something well manicured, but still have that over-grown garden feel. Here is a local landscape designer whose work I have fallen in love with. Does this get you excited for spring?!

Eco Living with style. Viva Terra has some great earthy-products. Their website says: “living earth is inspired by our dedication to living in harmony with nature – for a healthier life now and for future generations.” Nice Job.

While their lines do have an “earthy” feel to them, it’s pretty refreshing. I can see a lot of their furniture and accessories in second homes, like a cabin or beach home.

Diapers that flush

We don’t have any kiddos yet so correct me if i’m wrong: Dirty diapers stink…big time. I’ve been around families that have dirty diapies hanging around the trash and it’s just gross. Good news folks. Embrace the world’s first flushable diaper, the gDiaper.

For the last 40 years there have been but two choices in diapers. Cloth or disposable. That’s it. Now gDiapers offers a third option. Flushable. gDiapers puts waste where it belongs, in the toilet. Not the landfill.

Camalonian Columns is a woven light weight pavilion inspired by the way plants move and respond to their environment. It was developed during a residency at Kew, The Royal Botanical Gardens, London in spring 2008.
